Hi there, and welcome to Barbells + Blueberries where a passion for health and wellness meets personalized guidance! I'm Melanie and I am happy you've joined me to discover the many rewards of adopting a healthier lifestyle. Prioritizing health and wellness have been a cornerstone of my life, and I'm excited to share that enthusiasm with you! 

 

I created this online coaching platform due to my deep-rooted love for nutrition, fitness, and overall well-being. My mission is to help people of all ages and levels of fitness discover the benefits, joy, and fulfillment that healthy living can bring. I believe movement, nourishment, and personal growth are essential components for a vibrant life and positive change can lead to enhanced health and greater life satisfaction.

I worked with Melanie during my stay in Key West. I had been exercising but not using weights. Melanie helped me with several weight routines and helped me build confidence in using heavier weights. I loved that she focused on my form and was super encouraging. In just 6 sessions I felt stronger and more confident. She is a great trainer.

At 56, I’m just starting strength training after a very long absence of exercise. Melanie has been great to work with. She’s patient and very knowledgeable about exercise and nutrition. I had a couple issues starting out and she helped me adjust and keep going. Initially, I was reluctant to do anything because I was embarrassed about being so out of shape.
